I am currently a postdoc in the complex systems research group of Jean Carlson.
My recent research has been focused on "Population-Expression" dynamics, which are the dynamical rules that govern the behavior of multicellular expression profiles. This research was motivated by the need for tools to analyze flow-cytometry data for populations of cells that are expanding while differentiating. I have a paper using some elementary examples of this technique in looking at what governs chronic infections that will be appearing in the October 16 issue of Biophysical Journal.
I've extended this approach to look at the methylation of DNA.
