The Nash All-Weather Eye was the first modern air conditioning system for automobiles. Previous systems had a large condenser in the trunk, which reduced the available storage space. The Nash cooling and heating systems were the state of the art in 1954 --- and very comparable to what you'll find in today's automobiles.
