Postdoctoral Position in Galaxy Evolution Inquiries: erbd@uwm.edu |
A postdoctoral position working on the evolution and characterization of high redshift galaxies is available at the University of Wisconsin Milwuakee, working with Prof. Dawn Erb. Applicants should have a PhD in astrophysics and experience with optical and/or infrared spectra of galaxies. Prof. Erb also holds a position as an Assistant Professor L/I at the University of Wisconsin-Madison, and there will be frequent opportunities to visit and collaborate. The appointment is funded for two years, contingent on performance. Additional years are possible. The starting date is negotiable, with the earliest possible start date September 1, 2010. Applicants should send their CV and list of publications, a brief summary of previous research highlights, and a statement of current research interests, and should arrange for three letters of recommendation to arrive by the Jan 31 deadline.
