Downloading and saving the Purchase Order
Click this link to download po.dot. Choose "Save it to disk",
and save it to C:\Program Files\Microsoft Office\Templates\ as po.dot.
How to use this form.
When you'd like to start a new purchase order using po.dot, goto File, then New and select po.
This document contains protected form fields. No modifications are allowed except in areas which are to be filled out.
When moving the mouse over this document, there should normally be an arrow.
When the mouse is over a field to be completed, an I-beam will apprear.
Instructions for transmitting form:
After completing the form, choose File from the pulldown menus, choose save as, and rename the completed document using your
initials, followed by the date. i.e.pcs031400.doc. If you're sending more then one that day, follow the date by _1, _2, _3...
i.e. pcs031300-_1.doc, pcs031300_2.doc. Send via e-mail attachment to pos@physics.ucsb.edu
