Research: Quantum Computation & Condensed Matter Experiment
Currently, my resarch in quantum computation is two-fold. I am diligently working on new "super-dielectric" materials (low loss amorphous Silicon) for superconducting qubits and the first solid state demonstration of Shor's Algorithm.
Diversifying Physics:
- Attended the NSBP/NSHP 2008 Conference in Washington D.C.
- Attended the 2007 SACNAS Conference in Tampa, Florida
Life outside of my PhD
I enjoy running ultra-marathons (check out Santa Barbara 10 trails!) and photography.
