Research Interests

I'm primarily interested in quantum information theory, specifically

• Stabilizer formalism (generalization to d-level systems, quantum error-correcting codes, Gottesman-Knill theorem, topological codes)

 

• Clifford group (and classical simulability, representation via SL(2,p), convex hull a.k.a Clifford polytope)

 

• Discrete Wigner functions (negative quasiprobabilities, Galois fields, relationship with G-K theorem)

 

• Magic state distillation 

 

• Mutually unbiased bases, SIC-POVMs, quantum Bayesianism

 

• Nonlocality & Contextuality
