Sansa
Airlines
After a quick meal and much needed sleep, we were headed to catch another
flight. Before going into detail further about how we got to Quepos, I must
let everyone know that I am petrified of flying, heights, turbulence,
flying over water, and anything remotely associated with the possibility
of dying by way of flying. The gods must have not been aware of the latter
because our flight into Quepos was one of the most frightening experiences
of my life! The plane seated only around 12 people and released a smoggy
fume that permeated all the way into the plane. The entire flight mirrored
a roller coaster, except that it was much longer and there was also a lot
of shaking simultaneously occuring. This part of the trip played psychological
assaults on my immensely imaginative mind, but I survived it!
This first set of pictures is
the trip from San Jose to Quepos. Notice how happily I am smiling--completely
unaware of the terror which is imminently awaiting me. Click on the pictures
for larger versions.
These pictures are the 2nd trip
from Quepos back to San Jose.
