I'm a Ph.D candidate in theoretical physics at University of California Santa Barbara, where I work with Prof. Peng Oh. From fall 2018, I will start the Burke Prize Postdoctoral Fellowship in theoretical physics at California Institute of Technology.
Previously I served as a research assistant in Fisher Computational Astrophysics Group at University of Massachusetts Dartmouth, from which I received my M.S. Degree in 2013. I received my B.S. Degree from Anhui Jianzhu University in 2011, advised by Prof. Xuelei Chen at National Astronomical Observatories of China.
Working on theoretical and computational astrophysics, I'm interested in applying micro-physics including magnetohydrodynamics, turbulence, instabilities to the theories of circumgalactic medium, intracluster medium and Type Ia supernovae.
I have several years of experience of developing FLASH large-scale simulations. In addition, I'm a member of yt Project since 2014, and have used yt to analyze and visualize Terabytes of simulation data on supercomputers.
