Yubi Chen

ABOUT ME

I am Yubi Chen(陈俞嬖), a Ph.D. student in Physics at the University of California, Santa Barbara (UCSB) since 2019. I got my master's degree from the University of Chicago(UChicago) in 2018-2019. I did my undergrad at the University of the Chinese Academy of Sciences (中国科学院大学 UCAS) in 2014-2018.

RESEARCH

I am currently interested in the thermal properties of topological materials by first-principles modeling. My advisor is Prof. Bolin Liao, with a link to our group. I am happy in this group and please feel free to chat with me if you are interested in joining our group.

My first paper has been submitted, and hopefully it will come out soon.

My second paper is in preparation.

HOBBIES

Exercises are important for having a work-life balance and having a sustainable output. I am interested in dancing, like jazz and HipHop. Here are a bunch of my dancing videos.
