The Age of Science - by Gerald Piel. This book provides a wonderful overview
for high school students about the developments of science in the twenteith
century.
How Things Work Today - by Micheal Wright and Mukul Patel. Another wonderful
book designed for a broader range of student ages. This one is well illustrated
and unlike The Age of Science, it can be fun to look at even when you
don't have time to read a full chapter.
Radar, Hula Hoops, and Playful Pigs
- by Joe Schwarcz. This book makes wonderful observations on how chemistry is
given a bad name in society and seeks to educate high school students and college
students alike on how often people are wrong.
The Genie in the Bottle - by Jow Schwarcz. Following up where Radar
left off, Genie is another wonderful and eyeopening read.
