Because of the events in IV over the weekend, classes at UCSB have been canceled for tomorrow, Tuesday, May 27. I will still hold office hours as usual, and I will be in the classroom during regular class time to answer questions and discuss the course material for anyone who would like to come.
The lab will be open as usual tomorrow.
I have postponed the due date for AoESM Lab 8 by one day. The lab is now due Wednesday, May 28, at 9:45 PM.
Because we have not yet covered some material relevant to homework 8, that set will now be due on Friday, May 30, at 9:45 PM.

The lab will be open from 10:00–5:00 this coming Saturday and Sunday, and from 10:00–12:00 and 1:00–4:00 on Monday, May 26 (Memorial Day).

Please read the Agilent U3401A setup handout.
Many fuses have been blown in the lab because of incorrect test lead configuration.
Please keep careful track of all the parts from your project kit. Do not leave parts in the lab. You only get one kit.

Lab sections meet for the first time this week, starting today. The lab is Broida 3233.

Student Manual for The Art of Electronics
by Thomas C. Hayes and Paul Horowitz

published by Cambridge University Press.

You will also need a computation notebook, larger than 8.5×11'', with bound, gridded, and numbered pages, and a kit containing a solderless breadboard and jumper wire assortment (sold at the UCSB bookstore).
