Physics 128 Course Materials

For Physics 128 you will need to purchase two items,
a lab notebook and the textbook.

The lab notebook should be the kind that automatically
duplicates what you are writing. You will turn in the copy
for grading. The "carbonless" type is somewhat less messy.
I suggest you get one with 8.5 x 11 inch pages so that
you can easily scan or photocopy it if necessary. I also
suggest at least 100 pages. Here is an example:

The textbook for Physics 128, not at the campus bookstore,
is:

   An Introduction to Error Analysis:
The Study of Uncertainties in Physical Measurements
   ISBN 093570275X (978-0935702750)
   2nd Edition
   By John R. Taylor

This is an excellent book to learn from, and it does a good job
covering the basics.
